After a successful eighth edition, the European Arthouse Cinema Day will return in cinemas around the world on 17 November 2024, organised by the CICAE in collaboration with Eurimages and the Europa Cinemas network. Join us in celebrating the diversity of European cinema by attending one of the events or screening taking place in more than 700 cinemas in over 40 countries. This year’s edition will be a chance to send a strong political message: Arthouse Cinemas are central democratic places where dialogue and community thrive and contribute to healthy societies. We stand for diversity, exchange and collaboration across borders and cultures. The EACD is a global event: if you’re a cinema exhibitor, distributor or programmer and want to participate to the next edition, regardless of where you are in the world, we would love to have you on board.
